The unique dining experience with mountain views was unforgettable and truly enhanced our stay.
We experienced delayed service during dinner, which detracted from the overall enjoyment of our meals.

Stunning views from the Double or Twin Room with Mountain View. The sunrise over the mountains was magical. The hotel itself has a cozy atmosphere and clean shower facilities. The staff were friendly, especially the receptionist who introduced us to Ernest, the resident chamois. Dinner and breakfast were delicious, offering a unique dining experience with a view. However, I faced some service issues. The check-out process took 20 minutes due to staff being busy with the accounts. I also experienced a wait of over an hour for dinner starters, which was disappointing given the high cost for two nights. Limited dining options during peak hours and slow service detracted from my overall enjoyment. Still, the breathtaking surroundings and the atmosphere made it memorable.

Stunning views with sweet surprises
Waking up to breathtaking mountain views was unforgettable. The cozy bar area with a fireplace made evenings magical, and the historic charm added a unique touch to our stay.
However, communication issues regarding transportation tickets created unnecessary stress. Additionally, the limited dining options left us wanting more variety at mealtimes—a shame given the beautiful setting.

Had a fantastic time with friends snowshoeing around the trails and witnessing the dazzling sunset light show over the Mer de Glace. The Ice Grotto was an incredible highlight. The staff in the restaurant were super kind and attentive, making our dining experience truly enjoyable.
The only drawback was the lack of assistance with luggage since there’s no elevator, which made check-in a bit cumbersome.

Amazing views but slow service
The mountain views from our room were breathtaking. The bar area was super cozy with a fireplace, perfect for chilly evenings. We enjoyed some packed lunches, which were a nice touch. Just a heads up, the dinner service was pretty slow, and it got frustrating waiting for our orders.
